This year has held more than one challenge for me, and one of the biggest has been my health. I was recently diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and learning how to navigate it has been difficult and unpredictable.

I know I said I would be open today, and I am so sorry to anyone who was planning to stop in, but unfortunately I won’t be able to make it in today. My symptoms can sometimes become quite severe, and although I’ve taken my medication to try to manage this reaction, it just isn’t helping enough this morning.

Running a small business means so much to me, and I hate having to change hours at the last minute. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support while I learn how to manage this new reality.

Hinterland & Co. will be closed today. Thank you so much for understanding. ❤️

YAY! I’m so happy to finally say we’ve found someone who fits right in with our little Hinterland team! She’ll be starting this week and doing some training, and then you’ll be seeing her lovely face around the shop. Make sure you pop in, say hello and give her a warm Hinterland welcome!
As we get her trained and settled in, we may still have a few odd hours or days where we need to close a little early. We’ll keep doing our very best to keep things running as smoothly as possible.
Thank you so much for sticking with us and being patient while we worked through a bit of a difficult stretch. It truly means more than you know. Here’s to a fresh start and a new chapter at Hinterland & Co!

Today is the Calberry Craft Market!
As you know, when we attend our local markets, the store is closed for the day, but you can find us at the Agricultural Centre from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. It’s shaping up to be a great day with lots of amazing local vendors, so come out, have a browse and stop by to say hi!
