Tomorrow night we’re opening our original Xbox Halo Knights arena for our first community drop-in event.

Experience Halo 2 System Link — on 4 original Xbox consoles, with 4 premium CRT stations, showcasing curved tubes, component video, and 480p. (More stations coming in the future)

All skill levels welcome. We will balance the teams as much as possible to make an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Fresh on the floor - going out this morning is this Original Galaga Ms Pac-Man Combo which features a 25” monitor apposed to the original 19” monitors these arcades came with.

If you’ve never played a true twin-stick shooter — this is where it started.

Back in 1982, Robotron was designed by Eugene Jarvis at Williams Electronics. The story goes he injured his hand and could only use one joystick this led to the idea: one stick to move, one to fire. What came out of that accident was one of the most intense arcade experiences ever created — pure chaos, no maze, no escape… just survive!

That control scheme became a genre.

Smash TV took that same DNA and cranked it to 11 — bigger, louder, more ridiculous and cooperative, crowd energy, and total sensory overload.

These aren’t just games — they’re a piece of arcade history.

And they hit different on original hardware.
