Brenda Laine Designs

Brenda Laine Designs Women’s clothing made from bamboo/cotton and bamboo/merino jersey and fleece, h**p/organic cotton, merino wool and linen.

Consciously designed and ethically Made in BC, Canada. I design sustainable fashion for women. My line is feminine, yet strong, tailored to bring sophistication to the comfort and flow of knit garments. Made from blends of bamboo, h**p, organic cotton, merino wool and linen, all my garments are manufactured in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I began my career in fashion in the 1990's designing and construc

ting highly detailed couture coats. These were one-of-a-kind artistic creations which I exhibited in fashion shows in Canada and the United States. I collaborated with a celebrated First Nations' artist to create a collection of 'art appliquéd coats and suits for exhibition. I also taught coat construction and tailoring to a small group of First Nations' women, helping them each create a finished tailored coat on which they (sewed) their own art appliqués. I began began my own 'knit line' in 2009. I currently wholesale garments from my line to over a dozen retail stores in British Columbia. My garments have also been sold in retail stores across Canada.
