Hello folks

Quick update on autoracks. They have been pulled off the site for a short time due to the overwhelming non-preorders. We are very surprised by the demand (and thankful) but we need to get our preorders out first.

THEY ARE NOT SOLD OUT.

They will be back up on the site in a week or two.

If you have preordered and not recieved an invoice yet, no worries. We are working thru them "first come", as usual.

We appreciate you all and the business!!

Thank you

PS Team

Rave1 Autroacks are instock now in both warehouses!!
We are sending out preorders over the next couple weeks. So don't be alarmed if you have not received an invoice yet, its coming.

2 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THESE RACKS:

1. We can NOT control the length of Kadee trip pin. This is the black metal piece that comes out of the bottom of the coupler..
Meaning, if the car is derailing on switches, check the trip pin as they tend to be "long" and hits the inside rails of the switch.
Solution is to bend the trip pin wire up, trim the trip pin down a little or cut it off altogether.

2. Please be sure to remove the foam pieces on the sides of the car BEFORE pulling it out of the cradle. See pic below, its clearly marked on the foam pieces. The foam piece protects the rave doors in shipment as well as the door locks are small on the sides of the doors.

We hope you enjoy them, if you didnt preorder, they can be ordered here:

GP20s ARE NOW INSTOCK!!

Good evening everyone,

We are happy to announce that our HO Scale GP20C-ECOs are now instock in both warehouses and are ready to ship.

PLEASE NOTE: There are very limited numbers on most sound/DCC skus. (And no, this isn't some selling tactic; we're just being honest.)

We also have a few "No Numbered" units available in sound.
These are full CP painted units with any road number or cab stenciling. They do have all the long hood CP lettering and labels.

Our newest special runs from Trainworx are here and we are pumped; it’s was worth the wait. All eight trucks were special editions from Kenworth in Canada that could be factory ordered by Owner Operators at the time.
All of these wear amazing decoration- Trainworx nailed it again.

Previously announced-
KW 25th Anniversary W900 and K100- built in 1980 to commemorate their 25th anniversary of building trucks in Canada.

Unannounced-
KW Canadiana Signature series (1982). Five different paint schemes representing different regions of the country although we found pictures of two different Qu’Appelle and did them both.

These models are available now at both our US and Canadian warehouses.

Find them here:

Happy Sunday From Amherst,

Prairie Shadows has EXTENNNDED our Thrall family tree. Introducing the Thrall 5800 cu ft Pellet Hopper. Finally, a 2nd highly detailed, large, smooth side pellet hopper in HO Scale!

We have nicknamed these the as they are not the prettiest hoppers, but they do have a lot of character:
-5 different body styles
-3 roof variations
-3 break end configurations
-2 different side sill variations
-"Pop tab" roping slews and more!
-Spanning multiple eras including the 80s to today

Thrall started production in 1983 and built over 7000 cars before finishing production in 1998. The early versions of these cars feature a smooth top chord and a large roping slew on the sill, while the later versions feature a "fluted" top chord and more standardized Thrall features.

As mentioned, these cars are big and ugly. Only a few reporting marks sport a billboard logo while most are plain-jane grey cars with UTCX reporting marks. However, we think this is just what every modeler needs; plain hoppers to fill manifest trains that already feature colorful boxcars and hoppers.

MSRP:
US: $57.99
CDN: $64.99

We will announce roadnames and road numbers at a later date. Stay tuned for more information on these in the next few months.
