☀️Happy long weekend! Just wanna hop on here and announce that were open for all of it so come and browse! Even though summer has kept me busy i have managed to squeeze in some reading, my current read is “The secret life of Addie LaRue”, i love a good book that has pretty cover😁

Been going through our Atlases today and putting them for sale on Abebooks. Its a great webside with MANY books, especially rare and hard to find books, so go scroll through that if your looking for a special book!

Im just finishing up this book, and WOW it is eyeopening. I dont read alot of biographies so i wasnt expecting to love this book as much as i do! The story of an olympic runner who became a soldier in WWII. After a plane crash he survives 37 days on the ocean only to be washed up on Japanese land and captured, against all odds he came out of prison camp alive at the end of the war. Recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn more about the life of WWII soldiers! This copy is for sale;)

My current read has me falling in love with the Prairies!
We have reading nooks everywhere, come by and enjoy some time with a book and tea/coffee ;)

Ive been wanting to read more books written by local authors so “Finding Flora” was at the top of the list, written by who grew up in Saskatchewan. I HAD NO IDEA I WOULD LOVE THIS BOOKS SO MUCH.
~Things about it im loving:
• a single woman learning to homestead in 1906? Yes please!
•the story line is extended through a couple of years which was refreshing since its not super common
•the characters are intriguing!
•there is clear character growth
•THE COVER IS GORGEOUS

Come in and browse! As summer approaches we are spending more time at the bookstore, our hours have been updated to 11 am - 5:30 pm, 7 days a week! We have done alot of organizing, getting the store ready and ordering in new books, we are also continuing to ordering in special and rare books for anyone that is looking for a specific book:)
