Okay, am I crazy or is this actually really cute?

I made these pumpkins to be larger dangle earrings and was originally painting them orange. Yesterday I decided to experiment with some darker stains and epoxy just to see what happened.

Then today, while adding the hardware, I thought… wait. I’d actually wear this as a necklace.
And now I’m wondering if maybe that’s what they should all be.

What do we think? Would you wear this?

There’s a lot of uncertainty for small businesses right now. Tariffs are tightening their grip, and I can feel the worry. But I’ve also seen what happens next. People show up.

Because our little shops and local makers are part of what makes our communities feel like home.

When you shop local and choose Canadian made, you protect that. And knowing our communities have our backs gives me so much hope for what comes next.

All summer long, I heard moms with kids saying, “I have to come back without them.”

And I get it. It’s hard to actually browse when someone’s pulling you toward the next shop, asking for a snack, or wondering when they’re FINALLY getting that ice cream. 😂

Well, Mom, this is your time.

The kids are back in school. Pick up isn’t until 2 for many of you.

Grab a coffee. Wander the boardwalk. Take your time in the shops. Actually look at the things you want to look at.

No rushing. No “can we goooo?”

Just a little weekday you time at Fisherman’s Cove. 💛
