We were busy baking and plating Sweet Trays this week for a dear lady's special Birthday Celebration tonight ....
It was fun using my Momma's and my Grandma's recipes to bring back the taste of traditions from years ago...
Alot of baking done and Eleanor did an awesome job making everything look so delicious and inviting :-)

It is hard to believe that we just turned the calendar to August ....
Many folks have been checking in to see how I am doing and when we may be able to reopen once again. I'm happy to report that I'm doing very well and gaining my strength and stamina back :-)
Re-Opening date is slated for Thursday, August 13th !!!!
I can't wait to welcome you all back to the shop :-)

We are not yet open regular hours but soon I hope :-)
In the meantime we are getting things stocked and ready :-)

Wow it is hard to believe that three weeks ago today I had my surgery. The great news is that the surgery was a success and the tumor was removed in tact and proven to be a low grade cancer, which means that further treatment is not required at this time :-)
Although I am struggling a bit with some after affects, I am improving every day -- so am looking forward to being able to be back to work soon. I can't wait to see everyone again !!!
Although my actual re-open date is currently unknown, stay tuned as we are planning some events in the near future - THANK YOU
