OCTOBER 10, 2023: An update on the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP)
Starting today, October 10, 2023, invitations to apply will be sent to potential sponsors who have previously filled out an Interest to Sponsor form.
📌Invitations will be sent by email over the following 2 weeks to randomly selected potential sponsors from the remaining pool of 2020 Interest to Sponsor forms.
📌 If you receive an invitation, you must electronically submit your PGP application through the Permanent Residence Portal or the Representative Permanent Residence Portal by the deadline mentioned on your invitation.
📌 If you submitted an Interest to Sponsor form in 2020, but did not receive an invitation to apply during the 2020, 2021 or 2022 intakes, make sure to monitor the email account you used on that form, including your spam and junk mail folders.
📌 Once all invitations have been sent out, you’ll be able to recover a lost confirmation number or provide a new email address if you no longer have access to the email address you used to submit your Interest to Sponsor form.

➡️Invitations will be sent by email over the next two weeks to randomly selected potential sponsors from the remaining pool of 2020 Interest to Sponsor forms.
➡️If you submitted an Interest to Sponsor form in 2020 and did not receive an invitation to apply as part of either the 2020, 2021 or 2022 intake, keep checking the email address you provided on that form, including your spam and junk mail folders.
