Well this festival season has truly been the most challenging of our experience so far but you know what the people you choose to share this adventure with can truly make or break it. Diana Inscho was another one for the books. Saturday was full of sun and fun until the entire fairs cell phone emergency alerts went off warning about a possible tornado in our area and then we watched as the sky filled with swirling black clouds directly above our heads followed by an absolute downpour and hail. But you know what despite the scaryness we were able to rally and have a fun night followed by a hot but fun second day.

Sometimes you just need more weight so you put your project on the floor and you step on it 🦶👣. This lovely project is a cotton baby blanket hand dyed with cochineal and then printed with my linocuts and is one of two I made.

Day 3 at the Whyte ave art walk and the sun is out, the artists are ready and we could really use your support after a very challenging first 2 days. The Whyte Avenue Art Walk

Well that was an eventful day at The Whyte Avenue Art Walk but we survived with only some damp patches and wet table cloths, Will Vick got a bit more wet but what's a little rust but some added character on an art piece. We will be back for more fun tomorrow and fingers crossed much less rain and hail.

Well you can't win them all, our first day at The High River Medieval Fair was a blast, we made new friends and had fun with old ones. Unfortunately the gods had different plans for us and we were hauling out in a torrential downpour, thankfully we were all a tad bit soggy but we made it home safe and are now warm and dry. Here's to hoping for nicer weather for our upcoming events.

Ahhh I love this shirt, I have a lot of fun printing on clothing and always try to work with the article of clothing to create a piece of wearable art and this one brings me such joy. You can find my clothing this weekend at and this pretty lady will be finished and ready to go for in 2 weeks.
