The staff and management of Lakewood Cannabis wish to acknowledge that the land on which our store stands is Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Metis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others. Their spiritual and practical relationships to the land create a rich heritage for our learning and our life as a community. We mourn the loss of countless innocents because of the residential school system.
