Hey friends, it’s been a minute 👋

We’ve been doing some serious reflection and healing over the past few months. We’re happy to report we’re starting to really get back on track and have some big changes coming your way very soon!

Firstly, we will no longer be selling second hand through our website. We’re a small team and getting everything up on there takes too much time away from other things, so moving forward we’ll be selling anything preloved through our account! We’ll be adding things daily for the next little while, so be sure to follow us there to keep track of our newest thrift finds 😍 You’ll find the link to the account in our bio!

Lorna has also been working away at creating our very own patchwork pieces that will hopefully be ready to go by the end of the month! Again, we’re a small team and she works full time as it is, so we’ll do our best to keep you all updated about that very special drop!

With the weather being a million degrees above for the last few weeks I’ve been living in as many summer dresses as I possibly can to keep cool 😎

I don’t know about you but summer has always been a time where I become super vigilant about sticking to a consistent skin care routine. I tend to sweat more than I’d like to admit sometimes, which if I’m not 100% on top of I tend to break out pretty bad. Sunscreen is also a must (though it should be every day, every season) in the summer time. Sun damage is one of the leading causes of skin discolouration, so on top of protecting you from the sun overall, it’ll also do wonders for your complexion!

Part of the reason we carry our skincare brands is because of the fact that I became extremely interested in learning about what exactly I had been putting on my skin and which ingredients I should be looking out for. A year and a half after beginning my research, my skin has never looked or felt better, and I owe it all to plant based and safe ingredients.

Let’s keep our skin healthy and protected this summer. Choose small batch when you can, and never go anywhere without that SPF! 😉

Another quick update from the loop & sew team:

We’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we want our brand to grow, what we really want to prioritize in terms of products and content, and the voice we’re trying to develop that represents us to the best of our abilities.

For a while now I’ve felt like something was missing, and then realized that we’ve been holding ourselves back a bit from sharing too much or too little, and that’s just not my style.

I wanted this to be a safe place that anyone and everyone could come to, ask questions, share ideas, and stay true to what’s important to us; supporting the fashion revolution one garment at a time.

Moving forward you’ll be seeing a few changes (mainly here, although I have been trying to figure out how to make the website as easy and efficient to use as possible) and hopefully you’ll appreciate them as much as we intend!

As a perfectionist I sometimes lose the ability to see things for what they are; imperfect, small but mighty, and human connection are what we strive for, both in our professional and personal lives. Our goal is to stay true to who we are, and what we are is a mother and a daughter who have a big dream to change the world and offer guidance to those that need it.

As always, DMs are always welcome; we love hearing from you all so much and would love to get to know you all a little better 💛
