SCOPE

Reporting to the Kiosk Manager, the Sales Associate plays a vital role in promoting our core values. The main objective of this position is to provide exceptional service to customers and build relationships with them. The goal is to develop customers for life.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful, you’ll need to possess:

Retail experience preferably in apparel.

Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers.

Experience with understanding retail operation concepts such as maintaining store standards, cash handling, and merchandise presentation.

Self-starter and uses good judgment in all situations.

Excellent presentation skills in a retail environment.

Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, and friendly.

Proactive ability to understand the needs of the customer

Ability to build buy-in to an idea, a decision, an action, a product, or a service.

SPECIFICATIONS

This is an opportunity to shape our company’s future by:

• Display a “customer comes first” attitude. Ensuring that customer loyalty is built and maintained.

• Resolving customer issues effectively at the store level in a timely and positive manner.

• Be a team player and contribute to the store’s success.

• Perform POS (point of sales transactions) and merchandising tasks, such as receiving the shipment, replenishment, and price markdowns.

• Keep current on our product and service updates.

• Ensure store is visually appealing contributing to company standards through product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping, store maintenance and visual displays.

• Adhere to all Loss Prevention policies as per guidelines and policies.

As many of you know, we have been grinding day and night to grow the APA brand. Just a couple of months ago we began production and market-testing our branded headwear and travel mugs through giveaways. Since then, we’ve given almost 500 branded items to our members and received outpours of fantastic feedback.
We have received many inquiries from both members and people in public as to where they can purchase APA apparel. We are excited to finally have an answer… As of October 1st, 2022, Alberta Premium Apparel will make its retail debut in the West Edmonton Mall.
We have a full lineup inclusive of hoodies, crewnecks, hats, toques, and more, hitting our shelves along with our website (albertapremiumapparel.ca) launching on October 1st.
This is a very exciting step for the APA Team, and we couldn't thank you all enough for being with us every bumpy step of the way. It is with all your dedicated support that we have gotten to where we are today, and the time has come for us to make another giant leap as a brand.
