That’s it. That’s all I had.

Would you believe me if I told you we used to WRITE OUT EVERY ORDER and manually tally everything up?! 😳

No fancy POS. No inventory system. No automation.

Just me, a pen, some paper and a dream. 😂

And somehow… 10 years later, here we are. 🥹❤️

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US! 🎉

TEN YEARS. 🤯❤️

Ten years ago today, on September 1st, we opened the doors to our very first storefront. It was a tiny 800-square-foot space across from the Brewery District, and we had BIG dreams for our little passion project.

Little did we know just how far it would take us.

We’ve been pretty busy over the last decade… 😅

✨ Opened our very first store across from the Brewery District in Edmonton
✨ Opened our first-ever pop-up in Kingsway Mall
✨ Turned that pop-up into a permanent Kingsway Mall location
✨ Opened a pop-up at West Edmonton Mall under the RAAS group
✨ Got the keys to our Windermere location
✨ Opened a store inside The Enjoy Centre in St. Albert
✨ Had another fun pop-up kiosk at Southgate Mall
✨ After months of construction, opened our beautiful 124th Street store in The Grand building
✨ Expanded our 124th Street location by knocking out the wall into the bay next door
✨ Dreamed up our next big space and opened in Sherwood Park
✨ Moved into St. Albert Centre
✨ Launched our mobile store, The Makers Keep Peach 🍑
✨ And finally, opened our biggest store yet in South Edmonton Common

Over the years, we’ve opened stores, closed stores, moved stores, taken chances, tried new things, learned A LOT, and somehow kept this crazy little dream going for 10 whole years.

And through all of it, one thing has remained constant:

YOU. ❤️

Our makers. Our customers. Our supporters. Our friends. Our community.

We truly wouldn’t be here without you.

We’re so incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, bought something from a local maker, shared a post, brought a friend, cheered us on, or simply believed in what we’re building.

It’s been one hell of a ride, and we’re so excited to see what the next chapter brings.
