The "Objectionable Publications" Book Club returns to with a discussion about The Complete Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi.

As part of this book club, we're offering The Complete Persepolis at a discount for those who have yet to nab a copy of their own!

Join us at Waffle Bird for food and conversation as we discuss The Complete Persepolis and the current push for the banning of graphic novels in school libraries here in Alberta.

We have a new off-site intern! Meet Cookie, who works remotely from my sister’s place.

Cookie is a very patient little puppo who visited the shop alongside my mom, sister and my nieces on Free Comic Book Day this past weekend.

Hey folks. It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of another one of our dear interns, Squee.

Many of you knew him from causing chaos on the store’s streams many years ago. He was an amazing floof who will be missed dearly.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: There are TWO DIFFERENT Superman/Spider-Man crossover comics coming out in the next couple months! First: SUPERMAN/SPIDER-MAN #1 from DC, that has final orders due ON MONDAY. Then there's SPIDER-MAN/SUPERMAN from Marvel, that is on final order NEXT week. Both have different stories! Both will be rad. Don't let goofy comic industry stuff keep you from ordering and enjoying BOTH!
