We are very excited to be hosting in our store tomorrow! Come by and get a beautiful portrait drawn by Pat, I promise you it will be much better than the unhinged example on our chalkboard! She has a unique set-up with a "live photobooth" where you sit in front of her and she draws a "photo" of you on a classic photobooth style card.

The Village Goods Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2026 will be held on Tuesday, June 2, at 7 pm at the store, 10432 - 82 Ave. Edmonton.

It has been a challenging year, but there are also some exciting new developments as we begin our 40th year of providing fair trade goods in Edmonton.

From our humble beginnings in 1986 to now, we continue to enable artisans and farmers from around the world to earn a dignified livelihood and to build sustainable communities.

In the midst of a world that seems to be dominated by war, inequality, and environmental destruction, fair trade is an example of how economics can be done for the well-being of all people and the planet.

This is your chance to be a part of something bigger than just a store, this is retail with a purpose.

Please join us for the AGM, annual membership only costs $10 for the entire year and helps support this ever-important social enterprise. Membership will be paid at the meeting.
