All the songs have been sung, the final notes have faded, and the music of this year’s Edmonton Folk Music Festival has come to an end.
Now, as we begin to strike the stages and roll the cases, the work of building next year’s festival begins. Bigger, stronger and better than the year before—that has always been part of the remarkable history of this event, and we are incredibly proud to share in the responsibility of carrying that tradition forward.
Our sincere thanks to the festival organizers and leadership, the artists, fans, production teams, technicians, stage and site crews, suppliers, partners, vendors, security and first-aid teams.
And a very special thank-you to the hundreds of incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm throughout the weekend. This festival simply could not happen without you.
Every cable run, light focused, speaker flown, video wall built, stage secured and helping hand offered contributed to something much greater than any one of us could create alone.
To everyone who worked behind the scenes and everyone who filled Gallagher Park with music, energy and joy: thank you. We are honoured to be part of it—and we can’t wait to help build it all again next year.
