You did not get the exact same thing… goodness… people need to research how companies like that work… stealing designs and photos from legitimate brands and artists and mass marketing/producing them, using cheap, often toxic materials, unethical labour standards and poor craftsmanship… and your money is supporting that in China. The internet has a lot of opinions about small business, fabric and pricing right now… 👀

But here’s the part that gets missed:

Same fabric doesn’t mean same quality.
Same photo doesn’t mean same product.

The difference is in the details — fabric, fit, construction, and how it actually wears.

I keep seeing “influencers” posting things like this… attacking small business and really feel it’s important to speak out about the misinformation. (This particular influencer was asking for discounts at her local stores to promote their stuff and then posts this)

The big box stores may have steeper discounts but their margins are higher and their money isn’t going right back into our economy.
