You better believe we’re back!

Mark your calendars and join us at the Very Indigenous Holiday Market this November at the Alberta Aviation Museum. We’ll be there alongside so many incredible Indigenous artists and makers, with plenty of great options for your holiday shopping.

We’re already hard at work on new jewelry, shirts, art and a few other goodies just for the market. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been making!

November 13–15 at the Alberta Aviation Museum.

Come shop Indigenous, support local, and get a head start on those holiday gifts!

I can’t believe we’ve been doing this for just over a year now.

It’s kind of wild looking back at this photo from our very first market and thinking about everything that’s happened since.

We got our start because of my late cousin Felishia and wanting to create in her memory. It was furthered by my auntie letting us share her space a year ago at the Elders Conference. We’ve met so many incredible people and been welcomed into so many markets and community spaces.

A year later, our tables are fuller, our ideas are bigger, and we’re still just as grateful every time someone stops to have a look.

Thank you to everyone who has supported My Home Reclaimed during our first year whether you’ve been here from the beginning or just found us recently.

We’ve come a long way from that first little market table.

Here’s to year two. Hiy hiy!

Days like today mean a lot to us, and we’re grateful to be here sharing the things we’ve made with so much care.

If you’re at the park, come by for a visit, we would love to see you.

I made a few special Orange Shirt shadow boxes for tomorrow at for Truth and Reconciliation Day. 🧡

These ones mean a little more to me, and I’m really proud of how they came together. I wanted to make something that felt meaningful for the day and that people could take home and hold onto.

We’re looking forward to being there tomorrow, sharing space with the community, and seeing everyone who stops by.

Our Orange Shirt Collection is ready.

Each tiny orange shirt was made and baked by us from polymer clay, then turned into beaded pins, stud earrings, and dangle earrings.

We’ll have the collection with us this Saturday at the Every Child Matters Traditional Feast & Round Dance at the Alberta Aviation Museum and again on Truth and Reconciliation Day at Fort Edmonton Park.

You can also find the collection in our Etsy shop if you can’t make it out in person.
