We’ve got a stunning vintage Jazz collection going out soon! Highlights include these excellent Sonny Rollins original and early press pieces! A sweet collector in our neighbourhood called us and said they had a collection of majority unplayed vintage Jazz records, from the late 1950s to early 1960s. Contemporary, Blue Note, Riverside, Prestige, Impulse, and more! From Sonny Rollins to Charles Mingus to Ornette Coleman to Miles Davis to Art Blakey to Thelonious Monk, it’s actually mesmerizing to see these records in such minty condition. The collector used to play it once, record it to tape, and shelf it, preserving the original plastic inner sleeve and original plastic outer sleeves! Some real heavy hitters in this collection so keep an eye out if you dig Cool Jazz and very rare original Mono and early Stereo press!

A very stunning transformation! A friend of the store brought in a pair of Klipsch Heresy HIP speakers a while back that needed some love and TLC. With black cabinets, steel framing on every edge, and handles in the top for carrying, the HIP or Heresy Industrial Ported speakers were great for hall parties and venues, but not so great when it came to a warm, soulful, home aesthetic. Thanks to our excellent speaker technician, we were able to turn these Klipsch HIP speakers into a beautiful set of custom Heresy’s with the use of old JBL cabinets, fresh wheat grill cloth, cnc cut grill frame, wooden tweeter and horn outlines, and banana plug inputs. These speakers are very heavy and sound like a dream! Another wonderful job and another set of classic speakers saved and given new life!
