We welcome Uglie Nails to the Meraki Emporium collective!

"My name is Ray, and welcome to Uglie Nails!

In 2021, my girlfriend and I moved to Edmonton, Alberta from northern BC with our two cats, Boo and Archer. In 2022, I enrolled in the full-time esthetics program at the Alberta Academy of Aesthetics where I spent 10 months learning a wide variety of subjects under the esthetics umbrella; facials, waxing, massage, and even things like laser hair removal! Most of all, though, I loved learning about nail enhancements. I have been incredibly inspired by estheticians & nail technicians in my life and those I follow online, and they motivate me to pursue my creativity.

I created Uglie Nails because I want to encourage people to explore their style and express themselves, especially if it’s unconventional, weird, or “ugly”.
