Or most anything else you can think of! While beaded footwear/clothing and crafts used to be common place amongst our people, you don't see much of it nowadays. We are attempting to keep this alive. Tom's mother was very well known for her bead and leather work, as was Kelly's Chapan. Both were Cree women who took pride and worked hard at their crafts. Kelly's Chapan sewed for the family. She als

o sold her beadwork/leatherwork to support herself and her family. We want to keep this craft alive and hope those that purchase our creeations enjoy and know that they are getting a one of a kind, hand made, hand sewn article.

Been a while since I had the pleasure of making a skirt. My niece ordered one for her friend. Quite pleased with how it turned out. Side pockets. Back slit. Beautiful Earth colours.
I'll get back in the groove and finish my granddaughters, and 2 friends who requested ages ago. But, as anyone who sews or creates knows-ya gotta be in the mood, or you'll fight it all the way through, and it will look like crap when you're done! Blessings everyone!
