A year ago I would not have predicted that I would be calling myself a breast cancer survivor.  It was during my first mammogram last December that a tiny lump was found.  I was shocked with how quickly things progressed: ultrasound, biopsy, diagnosis and surgery.  Follow that up with healing, then radiation.  I’m now on the side of yearly check ups and mammograms to track that I remain cancer free.  Now’s my time to give back.  I want to spread the word of getting regular mammograms and doing self-exams.  I want to support my fellow sisters that are on this same journey, both past and present.
I created these earrings with the goal to raise money for breast cancer research, awareness and support for those on their cancer journey. All of the money from each sale - $50 - will be donated to CIBC Run for the Cure.
Send me a message if you’d like to order a pair. I have 5 sets ready to go to new homes.
