The 58th annual Art by the River is next weekend (Aug. 23-24) at Fort Malden National Historic Site, Parks Canada. Proceeds benefit the Gibson Gallery. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days, admission $8 (or $15 for two). Children 12 & under free. In addition to the artists and artisans, there is entertainment, plein air art competition, kids zone, and food vendors. Free shuttle from the senior centre at 179 Victoria St. S. to Fort Malden, sponsored by Amherstburg Chevrolet Buick GMC 2016 Limited.
