When we had tallow products in the shop last year, they were so popular we could barely keep them in stock. Since then, I’ve been wanting to find something similar locally.

We picked up some whipped tallow balm from Danielle Devos at Your Local Farmer here in Oakwood last week and I've been really impressed with it. I’ve been using the lavender one pretty much daily (they also have an unscented option if you prefer)— it's silky smooth to apply, smells great, and honestly much more affordable than anything I’ve found elsewhere.

Definitely worth checking out Your Local Farmer if you’ve been on the hunt for something like this. 🌿

It's been a busy time behind the scenes — lots of learning, experimenting, and working toward creating more of our own products here in Oakwood ✨

We’ve taken a step back from the store in Fenelon Falls, but our time at Designs By Dylan & Home Decor was a great opportunity to learn what worked and where our true passions lie. We really appreciate all the support and encouragement along the way. 💚💙

Now, we’re focusing our energy closer to home as we build what’s next. It’s still early days, but we’re excited about where things are heading. 🌻🌿🐝

Glad to have power back and the store is open again in Fenelon Falls ✨️ Hoping the sunshine and milder weather is here to stay 🤞🙏

Hello all live shoppers!

We will not be hosting a live tonight due to state of emergencies, over 80% of our customers have either no hydro or phone service. Not only that, banks are down, online banking is down.. it would just be asking for a disaster!

We will hopefully postpone to a date later this week when everyone is back to the norm! Our store is open in the meantime if you need some in person retail therapy!
