First day back to school, a lot of excited kids, and I'm sure parents as well. Please everyone be careful out there, watch for the kids. Time to readjust to flashing lights on the buses and crossing guards, slow down take a second look. Hope everyone had an amazing first day back.

We are open today from 10 - 6. Stop by for some treats to prepare for back to school tomorrow. An ice cream, gelato or frozen yogurt will definitely make the day better.

We are starting to prepare for fall, even though we love summer. Tamzin is starting to create another amazing windows and Becky Morrison dropped off one of her amazing quilts for us to display.

Yesterday at the former James Russell and Sons, now I Love Chocolate building there was a dedication service to show the new signage that has been put in place. It was nice to have the Russell family present to see such an improvement to the heritage of their building. Thank you again to the Wellington County Historical Society and especially to Kathy Bouma for all of her hard work to make this happen. Kathy and Nikki dud a great job yesterday, thank you as well to Mayor Shawn Watters and councilor Kim Jefferson being here.

Today we had some new signs added to the side of our building. So nice to see the James Russell & Sons lettering replace as well as the mural replaced. Thank you to the Wellington County Historical Society, especially Kathy Bouma for all her hard work to make it happen. On Tuesday August 18th at 2 pm you are welcome to come and join the Historical Society and members of the Russell Family for a short presentation . GBL Sign Service and Installations did an amazing job . Thanks again to everyone that made this happen.

We are open tonight until 9 for the Pipes, Plaid and Pageantry Parade. Parade starts at 7:30 pm, stop by for some ice cream, gelato or frozen yogurt.

We are open Monday August 3rd from 10 am until 6 pm. Stop by and get some treats to celebrate the holiday. Lots of ice cream, gelato and frozen yogurt to choose from as well as chocolates, truffles and candy.

Friday night July 24th and Saturday July 25th, Autism Behavioral Services is having a Baseball Tournament Fundraiser. Stop by to watch some games and bid on some Silent Auction items and get in on the 50/50 draw. Food booth will be available.
