...beauty largemouth...6+lbs! Caught mid-afternoon in 5' of water (rocky bottom) on a 4" jointed husky jerk (shad). Yes, HFB Gear 20lb. braid played an important role. Sometimes you just need a small 'tinner' with no outboard on a quiet lake in the Bancroft area. Thanx for the review, Lucien!

...meanwhile, in Temagami, it was a family affair. Logan caught this smallmouth bass on his new rod-reel combo spooled with HFB Gear multi-species braid. His technique was 'old school'...worm-on-a-hook! Looks like Mom helped with the live release and Dad took the photo. Nice catch, Logan!

First of two reviews just in from Temagami. Lincoln was out trolling when he caught this lake trout close to eight pounds. HFB Gear multi-species braid played a part in catching dinner for their group! Appreciate the review!

Got out on Monday, June 29th in the evening. Jeff and Evan (father and son) making some memories. We were throwing chatterbaits and swimbaits. HFB Gear multi-species 20lb. braid with flouro leaders in 7-10' on Lake Erie. Missed a couple larger smallies on a Whopper Plopper. 'Elbows up!' Happy Canada Day!

...fished shallow on the US side of the upper Niagara River with Gaspare Costabile in his 522D Ranger, yesterday. We both used HFB Gear #1 dropshot hooks and most of our smallies were caught on a Lew's combo...7'3" med-heavy rod and Custom Lite baitcaster spooled with 12lb. flourocarbon. Bass averaged 3-4lbs. with a couple tipping the scales at 5lbs.
