Heather Mcilmoyle your Silver Icing Stylist I am a Silver Icing stylist because it's awesome ethically sourced clothing for every woman! So where did it all begin? Like a ton of bricks.

In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano. Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. The company started to spiral out of control a

nd as a last ditch effort Christina went to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Her greater vision is to provide women with the option to balance life and work by having the opportunity to work from home during hours that don’t disrupt the family lifestyle. Becoming an Online Stylist does just that. It is the best of both worlds, everything is online so you can commit as much or as little as you like. You can work when the kids go to bed or nap during the day. Everything can be done online, including pop up shops, so there is no need to sacrifice evenings or weekends to host parties. Carolina's Review: This sweatshirt is awesome! We know how dedicated all the Hockey Moms are out there so now you can show it off with this sweatshirt. This is the same fit as the Easy Going Sweatshirt so you can stay warm and cozy while rinkside. Pockets, yay! I am normally a Small and I am wearing the S/M here; it's an oversize fit for me but I think it's cute with jeans or leggings. I believe some size down in the Easy Going Sweatshirt so be sure to look for IRLs and reviews in that for size guidance.

Ahhhhhhhhh, I can't decide what to wear to the Christmas Party!! Help me!!
Option A, I am wearing size 38 and I find it totally true to size. If you are between sizes, I'd recommend sizing up.
Option B, I am wearing the medium, and I'd say TTS, if between, size up.
Option C, Again I am wearing the medium. If you are between sizes, size up!
Overall I love all three... I just can't decide!!

Kim's Review: Yes, yes, yes to everything about this outfit! I feel so fabulous in it! The kimono is flowy and gorgeous and I love that it has actual sleeves. It's made in Canada, which is something I love about it as well! It's a great piece for so many seasons, I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it! Now for these boots... they are absolutely amazing! I love the taller style. They're extremely comfortable and kind of padded all up the legs making them incredibly warm! I'm in the size 8, my normal size, and found them to be a tad snug so if you're in between sizes, definitely size up. I'm going to size up half and go with an 8.5 for myself. I've paired my look today with a lace ambition tank (S), my fav jeans, Take Me Out Denim (5) and the New Beginnings Wrap Bracelet. I love the look of it with the kimono!! (It's still on the website too!)
