A completely custom bar island built around a massive live-edge oak slab, black epoxy, integrated w**e storage and a fluted dark-stained base.

One of the most time consuming builds to leave my shop — and easily one of my favourites.

120 grooved joints, 70 dividers, and 60 bottle racks. Solid maple. Going to be one of the most unique bar island I’ve ever made.
Each divider is grain matched, ensuring proper seasonal movement. Also because this island will be stain, I did not want the end grains showing against the other dividers edge grain. The stain absorbs different on end grain opposed to edge grain.
