The Balloon Snowman was made as part of the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Marketplace / to be donated to a worthy cause afterwards. He took about 8 hours to make and used over 200 balloons. As each balloon used was also treated to increase it's lifespan, the snowman will likely last about a month if taken care of.

Hello Everyone. I've decided it's time to change the name of my business from "Fort Sask Balloons" to "Big Bold Balloons". While I am very grateful to live and work in Fort Saskatchewan; the name "Fort Sask Balloons" is unfortunately limiting the growth of the business. While the name is ideal for dealing with everyone in Fort Saskatchewan; it isn't as good for dealing with people in other areas, communities, or even in other provinces. Since one of the biggest sources of income for Balloon-Based Businesses are the various events held by cities, attractions, and community groups; the name is limiting the amount of work I can get outside of Fort Saskatchewan.

By changing the name to something more open, it is my hope that I will be able to do more thing with the outlying communities, assorted attractions, and other things happening in other areas. This will in turn allow me to expand the business and be able to offer more things than what I can currently... something I feel will also be of big benefit to Fort Saskatchewan.

So please bear with me while I work on getting everything shifted over to the new name.

There are some some exciting new things happening with Fort Sask Balloons. The first of which is that we will now be offering Helium. Due to the world-wide shortage of Helium, it has taken a bit of time to make arrangements to bring it in.

Next, we will expanding Fort Sask Balloons in a number of new ways; all of which we will tell you about when we are ready to do them.

In order to help serve you better, I recently attended the World Balloon Convention (WBC 2014). For those that don't know, WBC is the largest gathering of Balloon Professionals in the world. While there I learned all sorts of new techniques, designs, and practices. It truly was an amazing experience. I met so many wonderful new people as well. As part of attending WBC I made sure to take all sorts of pictures to share. There are many pictures, so it may take some time to go through them and upload the best ones.
