Painting for the challenge cause - we’ve had busy days and into late evening. DAY 4 midnight sketch, we finally put up the tent and I just sketched the lamp I needed in order to paint. 8x6 watercolor

I did some quick sketches that were just practice, not worth sharing. Was busy today took 2 ferries, was in a beautiful scenic area but we were traveling for ceremony and I didn’t have much time to do the challenge DAY 3 - will try to do better tomorrow. Meanwhile this is a painting I made from life which is currently being exhibited at Gallery 12, Moncton.

For Day 1
I’ve started a self portrait as the goddess TRIVIA.
My inspiration is the light bearer aspect. This is just a beginning and a bit of an uncomfortable one at that but I wanted to start this project and needed to paint from life for the easel challenge. Very happy I signed up for it again!

This is a process I call Imaginary Narratives. I start with blotches, and keep working on the drawing or painting until it comes to a resolution. This one is still in progress. 12” x 9” watercolor.
