💡When did so much of our food start coming in single use packaging?!
Food packaging in particular has become a HUGE source of single use waste. This started in the 1920’s and within a few decades, the commercial industry was booming with all sorts of prepackaged, sugary and processed snack foods that were colourful and visually appealing……. Fast forward to modern day. Some of our current population, myself included have grown up thinking all snacks come from shiny packages. Slowly, I have been unlearning this by making my own granola, sourdough, and really anything from scratch. I can’t do it all the time, but I make a concerted effort to take the extra time when I can. We can remember where we came from by learning these skills and use this knowledge to forge ahead and contribute to the healing of our planet and the people whom call it home 💗
Thanks to Colonel Clink for this homemade yoghurt and berries 👌
See you soon my friends 🌎✌️
