GARDEN UPDATE:

The peas and cucumber have been cleared out, so we have regained some space!

While clearing out the cucumbers, we noticed some of the ground tomatoes we planted LAST YEAR growing! We have about 6 of them - please note, we didn’t plant any this year. 😂

Tomatoes and peppers are starting to be ready to harvest - we have been sending tomatoes to our coworkers en masse.

We did an initial thin of the carrots and were pleasantly surprised by the size - they are already bigger than our final yield from last year! 🥕

We did debate trying to do some later crops in the bare space, but ultimately decided to call it a season and start winding down.

We were working in the garden and Alisha says to me “look, it’s us!” 😂💚

GARDEN UPDATE

So…. We missed a few weeks of updates… oops.

Please enjoy this photo dump of all the pictures we managed to take since our last update. 🙃

The radishes, onions, cucumber, spinach and peas are all done at this point, but had VERY successful seasons.

Yellow and Green Beans are still going strong - us and everyone around us are SICK OF THEM!! 😂

We have been getting more tomatoes than we know what to do with. Our carrots are already bigger than our final yield from last year, so we are very pleased with them as well. We have also gotten a couple peppers and have tons more coming in!

GARDEN UPDATE

Well, things have really taken off at the homegrown garden. Everything is thriving and producing lots of veg! We have been harvesting daily - nothing like eating meals fresh from the garden!💚

We need to get some more trellis/supports for our cucumber and peas. We also need to get more soil to top up our potatoes. Other than this, it is more maintenance and upkeep…. And weeding 😅
