Originally part of the Folklife Pavillion from Vancouver's Expo '86, Folklife Village is one of the biggest recylced buildings in Canada! Located in the main commercial centre of Gabriola Island, the Village has been a big part of Gabriola Island's life since it's re-construction here in 1992. The impressive timberframe building is being given a facelift in 2017, with new siding and new washrooms.
