Truth and Reconciliation day is right around the corner and this year we’re thinking about how we can support Indigenous authors by getting their books into the hands of readers. So here’s what we’re going to do for the rest of the week (until Oct 4, so a little over a week): you come in and buy yourself a book by an Indigenous author and we’ll donate the full cost of the book to True North Aid Northern Reads program that supports literacy initiatives in Northern Indigenous communities.
Yes, you read that right. You buy a book by an Indigenous author from our current stock and we’ll donate the full price of the book to support Indigenous-led programs in the north.
In stock books only either online or in store from September 26 to October 4, 2026.
