International Lounge Foundation
The International Lounge Foundation is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Concessions Workers to join our team at one of Gander’s most iconic heritage spaces.
Located in the historic International Lounge — once known as the Crossroads of the World — we offer visitors a unique experience.
About the Role
As a Concessions Worker, you will be part of the front-line team delivering exceptional service in our café, concessions, and event spaces. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere while serving food, beverages, and local products to guests from around the world.
What You’ll Do
Provide friendly, efficient customer service
Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and light food items
Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession areas
Restock inventory and monitor supplies
Support events, movie nights, and special programming
Share knowledge about the International Lounge and local offerings
What We’re Looking For
Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with strong communication skills
Flexible availability (including evenings and weekends)
Experience in food service or hospitality is an asset (but not required)
Interest in local culture, tourism, or aviation history is a bonus
Food Handling Certification ( Will be provided)
