A few new items I wanted to share with you today. First is this new assortment of colors of Bernat Super Value yarn. Same great product we've carried for you for years but now in shades such as Primrose pink and Wisteria blue. The second new item is a 5mm Macrame yarn in Taupe. Macrame has been increasingly popular online and in crafting communities and we're happy to have something to offer to those in Greenstone looking to try it. There are more colors available that we may bring in once we see what the demand is. Happy crafting.

Due to the lack of customers on Saturdays after 5pm we will be open from 9am to 5pm only. The rest of the week remains the same. 9am to 5:30pm from Monday to Thursday and 9am to 6pm on Fridays.

Our beautiful, small, northern town has been changing lately. In some ways for the better. In other ways not so much. It is a season of adjustments. It feels like we have suffered a lot more loss of family members and close friends throughout the past year or so. It is a season of grieving. For most of us the loss of our beloved headframe and interpretive center were hard enough to handle. Local businesses are selling and changing hands and nothing seems to be consistent anymore. It is a season of uncertainty. In the midst of all of this I have been rendered speechless and am humbled by your words of encouragement and support at the news that I have purchased Stedmans. Rest assured my intentions are to change very little. That being said I have some mighty big shoes to fill. Ron and Marilyn have poured their hearts into not only carrying the products you want at fair prices but also getting to know each and every one of you and sharing the good times and the bad. I am honored to step into that role and am hopeful that I can show you the same love, care and respect that they did. And so, to our customers from Thunder Bay, to Manitouwadge, to Hearst, and especially here in Greenstone, thank you for the opportunity to serve you. I love you all.

Please extend a warm welcome to Shawn Marszowski who has purchased Stedmans.
He has been working alongside us for the last 4 years and many of you already know his great customer service and ability to order the items you ask for.
Over the years he has shown a deep desire to satisfies our customer needs.
Shawn's intension is to run the store the way it has been in the past, carrying the same items we always have.

The time has flown by and I've loved every minute of serving each and every customer and considerate it a privilege.
We look forward to semi retirement and thank you for all your best wishes.
I will continue to work in the store a couple of days a week and hope to see you still
