A few years ago, a bear ripped this quince tree like he was eating a banana.⁠

I spent four hours putting it back together with honey and strips of an old T-shirt.⁠
⁠
It survived. It still bears fruit.⁠
⁠
This week, the bear did it again to another tree.⁠
⁠
But this time, I made a different decision.⁠
