Gaia's Fair Trade began in 2003 with the vision of changing the way business was done around the world, one purchase at a time. Fair Trade is a system of ethical and sustainable world trade which provides living wages, healthy work environments, equal rights and environmental protection of communities of artisans and farmers around the world.

We have been selling Gaia Products (mainly Baba Tree baskets from Ghana and Recycled Silk and Felt and Wool products from Nepal) in the Eco- Freako store in Roberts Creek the last few years.
This cooperation with Eco-Freako has now changed.
Gaia's no longer sells products there; but Lesley has taken over the selling of Baba Tree Baskets and some of our other products.
We are happy that these fine Fair Trade products will continuie to be available on the Coast.

In our next post we will show you the products Gaia's continues to carry on a pre-order basis -- mainly coffee from JustUs and the Olive oil products from Palestine. Photos and details coming up in a few days.
