Give this article a minute of your time. A great read for any parent, ECE and kindergarten teacher! 😀 📚 ♥️

As promised the proceeds from books sold this month are being donated. Thank you to those who purchased books, not only did you get a wonderful book but you also contributed to a great and worthy cause!📚💝

I did a bit of research as the GoFundMe site for Humboldt was closed before April was over. I also thought to myself, over 50,000 people and organizations have donated more than $15,000,000 dollars. As amazing and wonderful as this is to have Canadians give so generously to families in need, in my research I have found another fund that is still open to send our proceeds to and needs just as much attention.

Canada Helps is a website that directs Canadians to fundraisers that help communities and groups. We owe so much to First Responders yet we rarely hear about them after they’ve done their jobs.

Barefoot Books with Kelly will be donating our April sales to the Humboldt First Responders Fund. 🚑🚒🚓
This fund puts 100% of its money raised back into programs, therapies and supports fo First Responders. 👩🏼‍🚒👨🏼‍✈️⛑

I hold First Responders in a special place in my heart as my brother is one of them. 💝

If you are interested in reading about the fund or making further donations I posted the link below.
Thank you to Farmer’s Daughter’s Artisan Market for always supporting Barefoot Books with Kelly 📚.
