So, being the Tuesday of Celtic College and generally a nice day, I've decided to try being open for a part day.
If you are in need of anything, or just want to say hello, the shop will be open until maybe 4 or 5 this afternoon!

Unfortunately, my situation that I had hoped for with my last post is now a situation that will require much more time to do any recovery.
I will be closed until at least late July, and at that point I will see how I am doing, and whether or not I am ready to open again or still need a bit more time.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected circumstance, Ernie King Music will be closed for a handful of weeks as the situation gets resolved.
I am looking forward to the summer when we will be back to the fun stuff that happens in the shop.

It is again my fiscal year end.
Unfortunately, that means I have to count everything in the shop, along with all of the accompanying bookwork that goes along with.
I will be adding in a few days off for myself for a much overdue break, but the shop will reopen on Tuesday, April 21st.

For those of you that might be unaware, Jeff Healey played his final show at the Livery here in Goderich. I was lucky enough to be playing bass in a new band that was asked to be the opening act, and I often reminisce about that night. Despite circumstances being what they were, Jeff put on a fantastic show, and even afterwards while tired and only wanting to go home to his own bed, he was quite gracious towards the fan that I was. I feel proud to have met him, even as brief as it was.

I am looking forward to this documentary that is coming out next fall.
