Frankia is now available at Top Crop Garden, Farm & Pet in Cranbrook!

We’re excited to introduce a new brand to our garden center: Frankia Organics

Frankia Fertilizers manufactures and distributes organic fertilizer and soil amendment products for building soil health and growing healthy plants. They are based in Grand Forks, BC on a rural farm property that has been organically managed for over thirty years, most of those years operating as a certified organic farm.
Their products comply with Canadian certified organic crop production standards and we work directly with organic certifiers. The blends utilize a broad spectrum of premium organic inputs to comprehensively support soil health.

Long story short…if you are looking for organic garden amendment options, that are made in BC for BC soils…this is it! Come check it out!

Garlic planting on the Frankia property.
Today we added another 60 feet of beds, 3 feet across which we amended with 15lbs of Frankia Garlic Blend and 60L of Frankia Worm Castings.

Garlic Blend and Worm Castings are applied on top of the beds, then raked into the surface. Right side of the photos shows after application, the left side shows after raking in and planting.

This organic fertilizer will sit through the winter, then when the soil warms up in the spring it will start to break down and release its nutrients, giving us another crop of strong, flavourful garlic.
