Christmas came early! My best friend surprised me with this beautiful marino wool she bought from and I am so excited to try it out!

I have been enviously ogling Sea Panda Yarns for a while now and thanks to some impressive bestie telepathy has fulfilled my unspoken desire! 10/10 gift giving, my friend. 👏

Now I have to somehow find the patience to get all my Christmas chores done so I can play ☺️

I know things have been pretty quiet over here at Fancyplant’s Yarns, but sometimes life happens to the best of us.
While I haven’t been able to get as much done as I would like these past few weeks, that hasn’t stopped me from dreaming up fun new items to put in my shop!

This little Baby Bumblebee is just a prototype, but isn’t he so adorable?? I plan to make lots of friends for this little bee, so I hope you’re excited for more tiny creations!

My favourite thing about lace work, aside from how delicate and beautiful it is, is how I feel like a giant making tiny things for little pixies 🧚‍♀️

This is not a tiny project for a tiny pixie, though; it is a regular sized bookmark for a regular sized human 😄
