Lumber Seconds, thirds, fourths, and fifths!

We still have a huge pile of lumber seconds that we need to clear out.

It’s not pretty stuff, but there’s lots of usable wood in there if you’ve got a project where appearance isn’t a big deal.

$750 for the whole lot.

Come by the store and have a look. Take what you can use and get a good deal on some not so great lumber.

Gray Creek Pass is now open!

Thanks to everyone who's shared updates and helped keep the community informed. Conditions can change quickly, so use caution and come prepared when travelling the pass.

There may still be rough terrain, fallen trees, or other obstacles along the route, so drive for the conditions and make sure your vehicle is ready for backcountry travel.

Heading over the pass? Send us your photos, videos, and road condition reports along the way, it helps other travellers know what to expect.

And whether you're crossing the pass, exploring the backroads, or just passing through, stop in at Gray Creek Store for a snack and say hi!

We've recently become aware that scammers are spoofing Gray Creek Store's phone number. This means some people may receive calls that appear to come from us, even though they are not.

Please use caution if you receive an unexpected call claiming to be from our store.

While we may ask for payment information when you've placed an order with us or have requested a delivery, we will never pressure you for immediate payment, ask for banking passwords, gift cards, or any other unusual form of payment.

If you ever receive a call that seems suspicious or you're unsure if it's really us, hang up and call the store directly using the number you know is ours. We'll be happy to confirm whether we contacted you.

We're working with our phone provider to address the issue and appreciate your patience and understanding.

June 24, 2026 - Pass Update:

🏞 A couple of jeeps came over the pass today and found the berm to be an obstacle.
🚙 The 4-door Jeep got high-centered.
🌲Trees are still down, but they didn't seem concerned.
🚵‍♀️A creek is flowing over the road; they said it may be an obstacle for bikes.
🚧Apparently, the washout is to be fixed mid-July.

We will update with more info as it comes in.

Pass Update: June 21, 2026

The pass has been passed.

There is still a short section of snow (approximately 15 metres), but it may be completely gone within the next few days. Motorcycles can pass through easily, and ATVs should have no trouble.

Side-by-sides (SXSs) may want to bring a chainsaw, as there are a few fallen trees along the route.

The deactivation remains a minor obstacle. There is a narrow washout section, but a Jeep can still make it through with careful driving. A chainsaw is recommended for anyone travelling beyond this point.

As always, conditions can change quickly, so travel prepared and use your own judgment.
