Collectors, this is going to be a big one. We recently acquired a collection of over 250 Funko Pops, including a pile of older, vaulted, rare and seriously hard-to-find pieces, and we are saving the release for Valley Comic Con!

Valley Comic Con is happening September 12th and 13th inside the Hanmer Valley Shopping Center as part of Valley East Days, and Valley Tech Stop will be loaded with Pops for the occasion.

Downloading something online can feel harmless, until it isn’t. ⚠️

Apps, programs and files from unofficial websites can contain malware, unwanted software, fake installers, or pop-ups designed to make you think there’s something wrong with your device.

A few simple habits can save you a lot of trouble:

• Use official app stores and trusted vendor websites
• Avoid pop-ups claiming you need an “urgent” update
• Be cautious with cracked or unofficial software
• Check reviews and make sure you recognize the publisher before installing

When in doubt, don’t click first and ask questions later. Bring it in or ask us before downloading something you’re unsure about.

When you break your phone and your entire job involves making videos, you’ve got a bit of a problem.

Luckily, I knew a guy.

Scott at Valley Tech Stop got my smashed front cameras sorted and back to looking brand spanking new.

While I was there, I had a look around and realised just how much they’ve got in the shop, from cables and AirPods to gaming gear, Pop Figures and even gaming systems with 20,000 games.

And yes, they fix tech too, which is exactly why I was there in the first place.

Two Scotts. One broken phone. Problem solved.
