Good evening, I have been highly considering on joining the Sudbury markets Thursdays and possibly Saturday’s I’m just waiting to hear back hopefully it is good news!! If so you will see KL&A Gems at the markets on Thursday’s where everyone is welcome to come and check out or product in person if we get accepted we will be selling obviously our gem stones and crystals but on top of that co inside my husbands company I will have birch poles with me to sell for the crafters that love crafting with birch also considering some smaller pieces of our fire wood we have cut down for small wood stoves and sauna’s and if all goes well with those items we will consider on selling some of my husbands hand made mining equipment like gutter sluice’s and more!! That is after we have gone to a couple markets if we get accepted fingers crossed that KL&A Gems gets accepted into the markets!

Wow how you can lose track of time when your off doing farm things sorry everyone I currently lost track of time and days I guess auto pilot on the mind isn’t always a good thing we have been so busy the last little while with home kids and building our life’s but I am here to tell everyone we will be back out soon to hide another stone. !

Good afternoon I hope everyone has had a good week so far here at KL&A gems we have had a handful of busy days this week. I’ve been giving my husband a hand with getting our selfs some new equipment!! And always looking for new places so we have been busy with all the above items I do apologize that we haven’t been active the last couple days we have been on the go and with the four kiddos it’s been a busy week with school ending and summer starting think at this point I may have to start getting up at 3:30 am instead of 4 to get my days going in this time I will also be posting more gem stones and crystals in my online store as I navigate around creating a website in and amongst all of our enjoyable family fun we have planed this summer. Hope everyone has a safe and fun summer keep an eye out for our scavenger hunts as I will keep placing them for people to find we may just start hiding two or three at a time in different locations so that their is a chance for a few different people to look thank you so much and we here at the KL&A gem family wish you the best summer and may it be filled with fun and memories!

Good morning everyone. I realize I missed yesterday's post and I'm a bit late this morning for posting. However, we are working on getting another stone out for our hunt. I'd like to give a little background on KL&A Gems. It all started with a dream to own a gem store, whether it was online or in a shop. I always wanted one and was never certain on how to start. After meeting my husband and talking to him multiple times about my dreams, this man made them come true by giving me the inspiration to jump for my small business, pushing me every day to accomplish this dream. And here we are. As mentioned before, we are a growing family that is off-grid and building our homestead and running our businesses together alongside each other with our children. However, all this hasn't come to us without its hardships, but we have pushed through together and as a family. KL&A Gems is run with my two daughters, who love helping with our scavenger hunts. They are the ones who pick the hiding spots throughout the city! They are who the company name is partly named after. We all have a drive for the stones! And with our company, we hope we can reach everyone else who is as drawn to the gems and stones like we are. As all our red garnet is natural and has not been tampered with, aside from mining them out of the ground! We have only cut down about four stones ourselves to have cut garnet. They still have all their natural healing compounds and haven't been affected! We work to provide all natural and raw gems that have not been touched or tampered with by others, as we want to guarantee that the stone you have has only been handled by one other person in its lifetime! I hope that everyone enjoys the brief little history behind KL&A Gems!
