Hi my name is Joanna and I am located in Guelph,Ontario.My passion for all things vintage and antique began at an early age. My Mum worked in an antique shop when I was young and for over 30 years she and my late Stepfather had their own antique business, buying and selling antique jewelry and silver items at antique markets and fairs across England. Saffron Vintage has been born out of that love and is a way for me to continue to enjoy buying and selling interesting, beautiful and unique items for others to enjoy. Most of the items for sale are one of a kind, unique pieces but others have been lovingly brought back to life and repurposed. Beautiful, Antique, Mary Gregory, hand designed, hand blown green glass rose bowl. Gregory (1856-1908) was an American artist known for her “decoration of glass products at Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. In Cape Cod, USA”. Her designs were mostly of Victorian era Children and this lovely piece features a young boy holding a conductors baton plus a tree and foliage. In great condition.

Fabulous, Kitchy, 1950’s, white painted, wood spice rack with set of 6 ceramic, spice shakers. Each shaker features a hand painted Canadian bird and a pink flower pull, plus the bird name and spice name. SALT - Oriole. PEPPER-Bluejay. NUTMEG-Goldfinch. ALLSPICE-Robin. GINGER-Chickadee. BAYLEAF-Cardinal. This unique piece was made in Japan, marked on back of shelf and bottom of shakers. In great condition.

First up this evening this vintage, stoneware owl tealight holder. This heavy, home made piece has a cross hatched feather pattern and openings for the eyes and another on the top and both sides to allow the candlelight to shine through. A cool addition to your Fall decor. In great condition.

Finaly tonight this very cool, antique, small, flat top steamer trunk. This piece was likely a child’s trunk and dates back to the 1920-30’s. It is wood covered with heavy green canvas with wood cross slats, heavy duty decorated iron corners, 2 flip latches and a central lock. The inside has a removal shelf and it, and the trunk has a floral paper lining. There would be 2 leather handles, 1 on each side that sadly after years of usage are broken ( the pieces are inside the trunk), there is no key and the centre lock does not work. Otherwise in great condition. A perfect decor piece or use as a toy chest, sewing, craft or art trunk. Lock marked “Eagle Lock Co”
