Most parents don’t expect it, and then suddenly they’re navigating helmets, routines, and a whole new normal.

It’s not something you did wrong and, thankfully, it has a really supportive, effective solution.

From reception to after-hours, we’re here to support you. With cranial helmets, things can change quickly. If you notice redness, pressure spots, or anything that feels off, we’ll help troubleshoot as soon as possible.

Serial casting is used when muscle tightness is too severe for bracing alone.

Through a series of casts, we gradually stretch the muscle and improve joint position.

It’s often used for conditions like celebral palsy and idiopathic toe walking, which can lead to reduced balance, falls, and compensations throughout the body.

Conditions like cerebral palsy or hereditary spastic paraplegia (to mention only a couple) are broad, and no two children present the same way.

What matters most is how your child moves. Their gait, their stability, and their unique biomechanics.

That’s what we assess and that’s what we treat.

For some children, that means support like SMOs, especially in cases of low tone or delayed milestones. They’re lightweight, supportive, and designed to work with your child, which is why therapists love them.
