Most people can stand on a paddle board in a few minutes. Learning how to paddle efficiently, confidently, and safely is where the real fun begins.
June 21st, SUP Skills Course designed to help paddlers build confidence, improve technique, and develop the skills needed to enjoy Alberta's lakes safely.
Whether you're brand new to paddle boarding or looking to refine your skills, we'll cover:
• Efficient paddle strokes�• Turning and maneuvering techniques�• Balance and board control�• Safety and situational awareness�• How to paddle more confidently in a variety of conditions
As a Paddle Canada Flatwater Level 1 & 2 Instructor and Wilderness First Responder, my goal is to help you become a safer, more capable paddler while having a great time on the water.
