We're going to have a busy day at the brewery and may need to tweak the timing of this event to 4pm. Due to the current smokey environment our outdoor live music from 2-4 might need to move inside which also coincides with the World Cup Soccer match. We're looking forward to catching up with everyone, whether it's for ukuele, live music or the footy.

Join us in the Haliburton Highlands Brewing taproom for a special strumming workshop with Marc Gallagher. Marc’s musical accolades have seen him perform his energetic and emotive brand of Pop-Folk at international festivals and tours. Marc joins us from Manchester via a stop at the Brantford Ukulele Festival.

This Canada Day, bring your uke and play along/sing along to Canadian tunes by real Canadian musicians while enjoying some great Canadian beer (wine, cider or cocktails). Don't have a uke, it's a great time to check out Twisted Wood Guitars including the Canadian made Cedar Pro II. This post contains the minimum 5 Canadas/Canadians required for Canada Day posts.

Please note that UkeJam is being postponed through April and will resume Wednesday, May 8.

Looking for a focused, refreshing way to step into spring? Come join us for a fun two workshops and a concert at Haliburton Brewing in Carnarvon on March 15th.

This event includes: Workshop 1 "Hawaii Sounds“ explores the rhythmic roots of the ukulele, combining traditional Hawaiian strumming patterns with modern island techniques to expand your strumming and broaden your sound. Next comes "Zen of Practicing“, a practical, musician-to-musician workshop on how to practice well, offering clear strategies for mastering tricky spots, staying motivated, and making practice time genuinely effective.

We'll conclude with a concert that brings it all together, showcasing the full range of Elisabeth's repertoire: lyrical Beatles tunes, contemporary original compositions, and the occasional song in the spirit of Tom Lehrer.

Break — 4:00pm – 4:15pm
Workshop 2 "Zen of Practicing“ — 4:15pm – 5:15pm
