this Saturday Dec.20th we are hosting a live jazz band show at Rooms Coffee | Listen featuring ๐˜ผ๐™ง๐™ง๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™๐™๐™š ๐˜พ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™ฃ ( .s.w ) playing some improvised Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop & Afro-Funk music.

๐˜ผ๐™ง๐™ง๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™๐™๐™š ๐˜พ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™ฃ consists of Josh Awe on drums, Shuvanjan Karmaker on bass (& samples) and Dilshan Weerasinghe on guitar. The ensemble explores improvisation based around groove, with particular attention to the sonic aesthetics of hip-hop in tandem with elements of African and South Asian diasporic music.

An unbound dialogue of groove and tone, seeking truth through a continuous improvisation where pulse, texture, and intuition converge into living sound.
